Florence Melton at Bialik
Bialik College and The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning
Bialik College is pleased to be offering an exceptional course this year, Foundations of Jewish Family Living. This course is offered throughout the world-wide Jewish adult education provider, the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning. This course will give participants an exciting opportunity to expand their knowledge and build on their Jewish identity.
The course will be facilitated by our College Principal, Jeremy Stowe-Lindner and will be of particular interest to parents and grandparents, of all backgrounds, empowering them with the knowledge, language and confidence to share with their children or grandchildren as they embark on their own journey of Jewish education.
With its international headquarters at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Florence Melton School, forms an international network of community-based schools offering adults the opportunity to acquire Jewish literacy in an open, trans-denominational, intellectually stimulating learning environment. It is the largest pluralistic adult Jewish education network in the world offering high-quality Jewish curriculum that informs and inspires adult learners from all knowledge, levels and backgrounds.
Dan Sztrajt, Director of Jewish Life at Bialik College states “our collaboration with Melton marks a move by Bialik College to become a centre of Jewish learning for the whole community, not just our children. The Melton philosophy wonderfully fits together with Bialik College’s pluralistic approach to Jewish education.”
