Empowering students through responsive service, and a resource rich and vibrant environment.
The Bialik libraries include the Joseph and Lilly Solvey Library and Resource Centre and the Symcha & Zofia Kipen Library & Resource Room in the Early Learning Centre.
Dedicated and qualified staff ensure a responsive, student focused service which is central to enriching and supporting the educational and recreational needs of our staff and students. The libraries' staff collaborate with teachers to design learning strategies to meet the needs of students and are proactive in developing information literate students and supporting an information literate community.
The libraries' staff are committed to fostering a lifelong enjoyment of reading and the appreciation of literature. This is achieved through formal weekly library programs for our ELC and primary students, Book Week activities, and co-operative teaching within the Secondary and VCE areas.
