Celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut in Israel next year.31 October 2007
For the first time ever, the State Zionist Council of Victoria is planning a celebratory tour of Israel to coincide with the massive Yom Ha’atzmaut festivities for Israel’s 60th year, leading our community to be part of this special milestone.

This year, Casey from Bialik College was one of three STATE WINNERS to be awarded the prize. Casey won it as a business student who completed business in year 11 but wished to enter as a year 12 student.

Come and see the knots you made at Federation Square!11 October 2007
Many primary students participated in the 'knot a thon', a project to raise money and awareness about the forgotten people of the genocide in Darfur.
The knots the students made will be presented from 17- 28 October in the Atrium, Federation Square.
Bialik's 5th Annual Art Oration - all invited10 October 2007
Our Annual Oration with Dr Gene Sherman entitled Private Funding – Public Spaces: Foundations for Contemporary Art will be held in the Besen Family Art & Technology Centre, Bialik College, on 1 November 2007.
Next Wednesday the Primary School is having its ‘GREEN DAY’.10 October 2007
Activities on the day will include wearing green and then spending time creating environmental posters.
Teen Idol Sensation10 October 2007
Courtney Krulis was one of the Top 60 finalists in the 2006 Australian Idol series. This year Courtney starred as Rizzo in the Bialik College production of Grease and was also selected to perform at the Teen Idol Final on Sunday evening (7 October 2007).

The State Zionist Council of Victoria, producer of the community’s Yom Ha’atzmaut Concert is inviting
local Jewish performers to be a part of Israel’s 60th Yom Ha’atzmaut celebrations. This exciting
milestone event will take place on Wednesday May 7, 2008 at Hamer Hall, The Arts Centre.
MDA Concert success8 October 2007
Thanks to the organisers and fantastic suppot from students and parents, the MDA Concert raised $1000 in ticket sales.
