Dr Paul Bartrop, Head of Bialik's History Department, delivered the Yom haShoah address in Canberra's Jewish Memorial Centre to an audience which included a number of ambassadors, including those from Germany and Poland, many Australian politicians and Christian clergy, and the Papal Nuncio (representative from the Vatican).

Art teacher, Monika Ippoliti, is currently completing a Master of Fine Art at Monash University. Monika's exhibition, 'Domestic Works', can be enjoyed at the Helen Gory Galerie in St Edmonds Road, Prahran. The exhibition runs from 18-26 April.
