Genia speechless as staff throw a surprise party.16 April 2008

On Friday 11 May, the staff held a surprise breakfast for Genia on the 20th anniversary of the day she commenced teaching at Bialik College. Michael delivered a tribute to Genia outlining some relevant statistics including the number of diets she has undertaken, the number of risks she has taken, the number of days she has worked at Bialik and the countless number of mitzvot she has performed - so many of them beseter (quietly and unobrusively) - over the years.

With the colder weather coming, students may like to wear scarves, beanies, gloves and arm warmers to keep themselves warm. Provided that the garments are black, navy, mid-blue (like the new school jumper colour) or grey, students are encouraged to do so. A range of scarves, beanies, gloves and arm warmers are available at the Bialik Shop.
