Bookmark Club Visits Posh Op Shop31 May 2007

On Thursday, 17 May the members of the bookmark club visited the Posh Opp Shop in Glenhuntly to present their latest bookmark creations, to be handed out to the shop’s clients.

Bruce Bellman, a staff member at Bialik, is holding an exhibition at Delshan Gallery,1185 High Street, Armadale. The beautiful works can be viewed from 29 May to 10 June 2007. Gallery hours are 10am-6pm.On the opening night, 29 May 2007, from 6pm-8pm there will be a string quartet performing at the gallery.

WIZO teaches Year 6 fundamentals of fundraising2 May 2007

During Term 1 2007, a new seminar took place for Grade 6 students. In conjunction with volunteers from WIZO Victoria, children were involved in a 10 week Fundraising Seminar. WIZO (Women's International Zionist Organization) is a world-wide fundraising organisation, raising much needed funds for women and children in Israel.

Year 8 student wins GOLD in Swimming Competition2 May 2007

Year 8 student, May, represented Victoria in the National Synchronised swimming competition in Brisbane and won a gold medal in the team performance.
