Year 3's visitors27 August 2008

Year 3F were very lucky to have two champion visitors - one a tennis champion and the other an Arava champion.

Grade 2 Athletics Carnival26 August 2008

On Friday 15 August, the Grade 2’s, for the very first time, participated in a very cold but exciting Athletics Carnival. Mazal tov to all the Grade 2’s who put in 100% effort in each of the five events.

Peace Team visits Bialik26 August 2008

Tu B'Av - festival of love18 August 2008

In Israel, Tu b’Av is a day of love. While it is a regular workday, music and dance festivals are typically held to celebrate the day. Israelis give cards and flowers to their loved ones on Tu b’Av and the date is popular for weddings.

On Tuesday August 5, 36 Bialik students represented the College at Mt Buller in the ABL Australian Jewish Interschool Snow Sports Championships.

Mt Hotham Ski Trip 200811 August 2008

On Sunday 27 July, at 6am, 30 Bialik students ranging from years 7-10 and 6 staff members were assembling in the dark at the Cato street entrance. All were sleepy yet very excited, anticipating a great week of skiing and snowboarding at the snow covered Mt Hotham. Throughout the week we were blessed with excellent skiing conditions with all lifts running and over a metre of snow.
