To mark the end of the 2009 MS Readathon, the ELC library hosted a special morning with the MS mascot, Bosko. The children were also asked to come dressed in red.

A Culture of Thinking Conference24 August 2009
Organised by Karin Morrison, Bialik College hosted our second Cultures of Thinking Conference, featuring Professor David Perkins, Dr Ron Ritchhart and Mark Church from Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education.

The Year 6 students have been learning the story of Jacob and Esau – where Esau swaps his birthright for a bowl of soup and a piece of bread. As a related activity, the students made a red lentil soup which was enjoyed by all the Year 6 students.
