The final soiree for the year, the Spring Soiree, was held last night at the Victor Smorgon Hall in front of an appreciative audience.
The night commenced with debut performances from both the Year 4 Band and the Year 5 Performance Band led by Sarah Trainor. Also featured were the ‘Take a Bow’ strings ensembles, the ‘Jungle Juice’ percussion ensemble led by Alejandro Vega and the Primary Choir & Year 5 Ukulele Ensemble led by Marc Tienstra.
The second part of the evening was devoted to solo artists. The performances showcased the rich array of talent among Bialik’s students and the musical journey they have undergone over the course of the year, with the help of their devoted instrumental teachers. The diverse program included vocal and instrumental works of varying genres, including Pop, Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Film Music.
