The Bialik kitchen was filled with the scrumptious aromas of Italian food last week when the Year 5s were joined by their grandparents for a delightful cooking class. This very special event took place in recognition of the Year 5 cohort’s graduation from the Kitchen Garden Program and included the preparation of fresh linguine, gnocchi, risotto, zucchini fritters and lemon biscuits.
Students and their grandparent/s enjoyed their meal together, sharing quality time with each other. Rumour has it that the Risotto was particularly delicious!
