In celebration of Rosh Chodesh Kislev and to introduce an initiative that combines the College’s Health and Wellbeing program with Jewish values, wisdom and rhythms in the Middle School, an evening of Hodaah (gratitude) was held. Parents were invited to enjoy and be enriched by storyteller Donna Jacobs Sife and musicians Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier.
The program was developed under the auspices of Legacy Heritage Teachers Institute held at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in July. Years 8 and 9 students celebrated Rosh Chodesh the next morning, which also included a captivating story by Donna.
