The Kinder 4 group were curious about the Frog Bog at the Auburn Road end of the campus. “Where do the frogs come from?”, “Why can’t we hear them now?” and “How can we make the water perfect for them to enjoy?” These were just some of the questions on their minds and they were very excited when Principal Jeremy led them on a field trip out to the Bog to discover the answers!
Principal Jeremy explained about the pH levels of the water and how it needs to be just at the right level for the frogs. He also told the students how the frogs come from a creek 200m away, inspiring the students to discuss the idea of ‘scout’ frogs, which come ahead of the group to find the perfect place for the whole group.
