Jeremy Stowe-Lindner

PRINCIPAL

Jeremy leads the operational and strategic direction of the College, ensuring the Bialik students are high-achieving, nurtured, well-rounded and communally responsible.

Gary Velleman

VICE PRINCIPAL & HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOL

Gary is responsible for the running of all aspects of the Senior School in addition to deputising for Principal, major project management and whole school logistical opportunities surrounding staffing and timetabling.

Ian Poyser

HEAD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL – PASTORAL CARE

Ian oversees a thriving and vibrant Middle School in Years 6-9. He also has the wider role of Pastoral Care across the whole College, something that he has built up over recent years, culminating in a Whole School Scope and Sequence

Karen Friede

HEAD OF PRIMARY SCHOOL

Karen is Head of the Primary School and has a passion for nurturing curiosity and open mindedness in all, while fostering intellectual rigor in an inclusive and flexible environment.

Daphne Gaddie

HEAD OF ELC

Daphne is responsible for the leadership of the ELC. She oversees all aspects of the educational program, manages staff, supervises the running of the day to day operation, and liaises with families.

Dan Sztrajt

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL & HEAD OF JEWISH LIFE

Dan develops opportunities for students to engage with the exploration of their Jewish identity and their positive involvement with Israel. He ensures that our students engage with a Jewish experience that is embracing and outward-looking, learning from and understanding how different members of our community practice their Judaism.

Fiona Gordon

DIRECTOR OF LEARNING AND INNOVATIONS

Fiona is responsible for the planning and strategic implementation of all aspects of curriculum, pedagogy and professional learning across the whole school.

David Simmelmann

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS

David is responsible for providing strategic advice and management of the school’s finances, property, facilities and security as well as overseeing the school’s risk management.

Rick McLeod

ACTIVITIES MANAGER

Rick oversees the administration of non-academic operations across all schools. This includes the school’s calendar, excursions and incursions, camps, co-curricular programs, The Shuk and management of the Gringlas Sports Centre, to name a few.
