Foundation Officer

About The Role

The primary objective of the Foundation Officer is to support the Foundation Director in implementing the strategic plan and day-to-day administrative tasks for the both the Foundation and Alumni Engagement Program.

This role is being offered flexibly with the opportunity to work either of the following two options:

  • 3 days per week to be worked during school term time only (40 calendar weeks’ per year).
  • 2.5 days per week working 48 weeks’ per plus 4 weeks’ annual leave entitlement.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Develop rapport and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including alumni, donors, parents, grandparents and key staff
  • Maintain CRM / Donor & Alumni Database
  • Analyse data including trends, donation activity and community relationships
  • Management of supplier and donor invoices and receipts
  • Provide reports including monthly donations and reconciliations.
  • Event Management
  • General administration support for Foundation Office

Key Skills and Attributes

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in relationship-management databases preferred.
  • Experience with CRM database, online email marketing platforms & donation platforms is desirable
  • Understanding of basic financial processes
  • Ability to work across multiple digital platforms
  • Excellent time management, administration and organisational skills.
  • Well-developed skills in MS Office, Outlook & Excel.

Technical Support Specialist

Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will provide technical support to the College to assist in the maintenance and installation of College technology.  

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ‘Help Desk’ solutions for College staff and students
  • Management of Synergetic – school administration software.
  • Install and troubleshoot operating systems, applications and utilities on workstations
  • Log all faults/activities, triage requests, prioritise and escalate as required.
  • Respond to service calls, diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions
  • Advise and coach staff to increase technology skills among colleagues

Our Ideal Person

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Network Engineering
  • Experience as a Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL)
  • Support of school administration system Synergetic is advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a Computer Technician or related position
  • CISCO networking certifications preferred but not essential
  • The skills to maintain and repair computer equipment in a Help-Desk environment 
  • Customer Service focus
  • Excellent communication skills

Early Childhood Educator (Full-time)

About the role

The position is responsible for providing care and education for Bialik’s Creche children, involving planning and implementing curriculum and experiences, whilst championing the Reggio Emilia approach. 

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.

Skills and Experience

  • Completed a minimum of an approved two year ACECQA qualification in Early Childhood
  • Minimum two years’ experience working as an Educator or Room Leader
  • Valid Working with Children’s check
  • Be willing to obtain a Police check
  • Recognised first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management training
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and the National Regulations to make sure their practices are in accordance with these.
