This week, the Year 5 and 6 students participated in a special day with the theme of “Citizen Scientists: Using STEM to improve our school and our world”. One of the exciting activities for the day was visiting the Frog Bog found at the Auburn Road end of our campus, as well as a visit to the Glen Iris Parklands.
During their visit, they asked questions like what type of frogs can we expect to find? What do they require for survival? How do we attract them? How do we make them stay?
It was a great afternoon of discovery and fun to have hands-on learning out in the fresh air!
