Performing Arts Awards
Bialik College is offering Performing Arts Awards to external students entering Years 5 or 7 in 2022.
Selection Criteria & Requirements
Performing Arts Award recipients are required to display a strong commitment to the Bialik College Performing Arts program and take drama/theatre studies and/or music as an academic subject for the duration of the Award (through Middle School). They will be required to participate as a performer in productions, ensembles, concerts and extra-curricular activities as designated by the Head of Department, some of which may involve attendance at rehearsals and performances outside school hours. They must attend all classes and rehearsals punctually and be well prepared.
They will need to role model exemplary behaviour in performing arts rehearsals and events and respect the Mission, Vision and Values that govern the College.
Applications for the Performing Arts Award are not required to sit the examination for an Academic Scholarship, but may do so if they wish. However only one type of Award / Scholarship can be held at any time.
***Applications are now closed***
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend an interview with the Principal and Head of Department, however such an interview does not necessarily mean that an award will be offered.
The value of these awards is at the discretion of the College and the duration of the award will depend on the year level into which the successful applicant is entering in 2022.
Please note: Individuals can hold only one scholarship / bursary / award at any time.
