Jake Makes A Difference With Dogs For Life

Kol Ha’kavod to our very own Year 9 student Jake W for his inspirational dedication to training Billie, the beautiful black lab!

Due to Jake’s valuable role, Billie has become a fully trained service dog, who was integrated into a new family this week.

Jake said: “It was amazing having Billie live with us and training her for the year. It was definitely harder than I expected to hand her over but I know that she will make a massive difference to Amy and her family’s life.”

This handover was very timely, as it was also “World Autism Awareness Day” this week.

We are so proud and fortunate to have the Dogs for Life Program in our school, helping to change people’s lives for the better. Thank you Yariv Ben-Yosef for making this experience possible!
