‘Lemonaide’ for Refugees

We’re very proud of these Year 3 girls who decided to make a lemonade stand in a park to raise money for a charity. The girls met to plan the stall, received donations of lemons, made signs and then sold over $138 worth of lemonade.

The proceeds were donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Footscray, where they provide shelter, legal service, hot meals and medical support to refugees.

Kol ha’kavod to

Ava B, Ashley D, Amelie K and Olivia G for this wonderful initiative.
