Jeremy Stowe-Lindner

PRINCIPAL

Jeremy leads the operational and strategic direction of the College, ensuring the Bialik students are high-achieving, nurtured, well-rounded and communally responsible.

Gary Velleman

VICE PRINCIPAL, HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOL

Gary is responsible for the running of all aspects of the Senior School in addition to deputising for Principal, major project management and whole school logistical opportunities surrounding staffing and timetabling.

Dan Sztrajt

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL, PASTORIAL CARE & HEAD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Assistant Principal is responsible for pastoral care throughout the College overseeing Student Services, health & wellbeing programing, psychology and counselling provisions. The Head of Middle School is responsible for the proper conduct, management and development of the Middle School. These dual roles support the College Principal in leading, managing and developing the College’s educational philosophy and strategic vision.

Karen Friede

HEAD OF PRIMARY SCHOOL

Karen is Head of the Primary School and has a passion for nurturing curiosity and open-mindedness in all, while fostering intellectual rigour in an inclusive and flexible environment.

Daphne Gaddie

HEAD OF ELC

Daphne is responsible for the leadership of the ELC. She oversees all aspects of the educational program, manages staff, supervises the running of the day to day operation, and liaises with families.

David Simmelmann

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS

David is responsible for providing strategic advice and management of the school’s finances, property, facilities and security as well as overseeing the school’s risk management.

Rick McLeod

ACTIVITIES MANAGER

Rick oversees the administration of non-academic operations across all schools. This includes the school’s calendar, excursions and incursions, camps, co-curricular programs, The Shuk and management of the Gringlas Sports Centre, to name a few.

Zachary Gomo

DIRECTOR OF JEWISH LIFE

Zach develops opportunities for students to engage with the exploration of their Jewish identity and their positive involvement with Israel. He ensures that our students engage with a Jewish experience that is embracing and outward-looking, learning from and understanding how different members of our community practice their Judaism.

Michaela Strang

DIRECTOR OF LEARNING

Michaela leads and manages the development, implementation and evaluation of the schools’ curriculum, its assessment and quality control and the professional development of staff, to enable its successful implementation. Michaela is in charge of the Cultures of Thinking pedagogy by making thinking visible and fostering a thinking disposition in our students.
