Bialik College operates a structure of ‘four sub-schools within a school’ on the Hawthorn Campus: The Early Learning Centre (ELC) for 3-year old Kinder to Year 1; the Primary School for Years 2-5, the Middle School for Years 6-9 and the Senior School for Years 10-12. Each sub-school is governed by a Head of School.
Bialik is proud to offer an outstanding swimming pool and sports centre housing professional basketball courts, a 25-metre swimming pool and gymnasium. Some of Bialik’s facilities may be hired for private functions. In addition, Bialik offers dedicated gymnastics, tennis, football, hockey, basketball, netball and cricket facilities on campus.
In 2013, beautification of the Hawthorn campus took place when the new Planting Garden was installed adjacent to the Library’s western wall. The landscaped front lawn includes a campus walkway which complements “Kikar Bialik”–the outdoor shaded and WiFi-enabled garden courtyard.
In 2015-2016, a major refurbishment program modernised the Primary School, the Administration building, Middle School and the Mifgash (Centre for Jewish Life).
