The Bialik Primary School Chess Team competed in an Australian Chess Federation Accredited Primary Interschool Tournament held at Mont Albert Primary School. Our school acquitted itself well by making it into the semifinals to be held at a later date.
The team was led by Harvey R, who managed to score five wins from seven rounds. We entered nine students into the competition and each student won a minimum of two rounds, with five students winning four or more rounds.
As always, the competition was highly skilled and the tournament very well run and organised. We look forward to hosting the next tournament on September 12.
Congratulations to all of our players.
