Principal Jeremy Stowe-Lindner Receives a Scarf on World Scout Day

August 1 is regarded as World Scout Day and to recognise this, Bialik College students and staff that are members of Scouting wore their respective Scout Group scarf. The Scouting members also presented Principal Jeremy Stowe-Lindner with the Victorian State Scarf at their School Assembly.

World Scout Day commemorates the beginning of the Scout Movement worldwide and the very first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island in 1907. Founded by Lord Robert Baden-Powell (BP) in 1907, the movement has grown to an estimated 38 million members worldwide.
