Bursaries and Scholarships

Bialik College is the community’s inclusive Jewish school. As a pluralist Jewish school we are proud of our ethos through which all mainstream strands of Judaism are embraced and taught with equivalence. As Melbourne’s oldest Jewish day school, founded in 1942, our founders had a vision for a high achieving, inclusive and vibrant school that embraces all Jewish children.

With grateful thanks to the Spotlight Foundation and the Melzak family, Bialik is delighted to offer the Ruben Fried Scholarship and the Melzak Scholarship for two Jewish students currently in a government school who are hoping to enter Bialik’s Year 7. More information is available from the College Registrar: [email protected]

Additionally, the College is proud to further nurture and recognise talent through AcademicSportGeneral Excellence, Performing Arts and the Music Tuition Awards. Criteria for each scholarship is listed on the relevant page. Please click on the relevant link for further information.
