Despite the cold weather, music provided a warm glow at last night’s Winter Soiree, which was held at the Victor Smorgon Hall in front of an appreciative audience.
As a new feature of the Primary Music curriculum, the Year 5 band groups gave their debut Soiree performance. All performances were a testimony to the hard work of teachers and students alike, showcasing the achievements of both soloists and ensemble groups as each performer contributed to a beautiful night of musical entertainment.
The rich musical program included vocal and instrumental works of varying genres, including pop music, jazz, music theatre and others.
