Year 7s Learn About Repairing the World During Intensive Tikkun Olam Program

As part of their year-long Bnei Mitzvah program, the Year 7 students have been engaging in Tikkun Olam (Repair of the World) activities over the course of Term 4. This has extended from exploring the concept of Tikkun Olam and it what it means in theory and in practice, hearing from people making a difference, and visiting various organisations three times to learn about their work and volunteer in small ways. Students visited Emmy Monash, Gary Smorgan House, JNF, Lamm Library, Montefiore Homes, Stand Up, UIA and did cooking at school in order to raise funds.
