A full day of energy, participation and outstanding house spirit defined this year’s school Athletics Day.

From the first event to the final race, students across all year levels embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves, support their peers and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school community. The carnival showcased not only athletic ability, but also resilience, teamwork and enthusiasm, which are key values of a well-rounded education.

Throughout the day, students competed in a wide range of track and field events, with consistent encouragement heard from the sidelines. Whether competing for points or simply participating, every student played a role in building a strong sense of connection and school pride.

As the competition progressed, momentum shifted between houses. Points accumulated steadily, and anticipation grew with each event. By the final results announcement, the competition was incredibly close, reflecting the effort and determination shown by all.

Congratulations to Herzl, the 2026 Athletics Carnival champions.

Events like Athletics Day are a powerful reminder that student wellbeing, physical activity and community spirit are central to a thriving school environment.
