Bialik College and Maccabi Aquatics Achieve Gold Pool Safety Endorsement

Bialik College and Maccabi Aquatics are proud to have achieved Gold Endorsement in the 2026 Life Saving Victoria Pool Safety Assessment, recognising a shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aquatic safety.

Gold Endorsement is the highest safety rating awarded by Life Saving Victoria through its Pool Safety Assessment Program. The endorsement recognises aquatic facilities that demonstrate excellence in safety, supervision, risk management and emergency preparedness.

As part of the assessment, the Bialik Pool and Maccabi Aquatics were evaluated across nine key areas, including work health and safety, emergency planning, qualifications and training, aquatic programs, supervision, first aid, plant and chemical management, changing facilities and pool environment safety.

The facility achieved an outstanding overall score of 99.76 per cent, including a perfect score in eight of the nine assessment categories.

This Gold Endorsement reflects the strong partnership between both organisations and their shared commitment to providing a safe, welcoming and well-managed aquatic environment for every child, family and community member who uses the pool.

The endorsement also recognises an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring the facility continues to meet Life Saving Victoria's best practice standards.
