Celebrating Generations of Bialik Women

Bialik Community Monday, 11 May 2026

Some mornings stay with you long after the coffee cups are cleared away.

Despite the rain outside, the atmosphere at Bialik College’s Celebrating Generations of Bialik Women – Mother’s Day Morning Tea was filled with warmth, generosity and connection. Hosted collaboratively by the Bialik College Parents’ Association, Bialik Foundation and Alumni Networks, the event brought together mothers, daughters, grandmothers, alumni and friends of the College community for a meaningful morning of celebration and giving back.

More than just a gathering, the event reflected something deeply woven into the fabric of Bialik: the importance of community and the responsibility to support others.

Guests enjoyed conversation, coffee and pastries while also contributing to the NCJWA Caring Mums Program, helping pack beautifully donated gift bags for mothers in need. Thanks to the generous support of the Spotlight Foundation and a number of local businesses, the morning was made even more special through donated products and raffle prizes.

What stood out most was the spirit in the room. Across generations, women connected through shared experiences, stories and a collective desire to make a difference. It was a reminder that community is built not only through celebration, but through compassion and action.

Funds raised from the event will be reinvested into the College to support future student opportunities and experiences, ensuring the impact of the morning continues well beyond Mother’s Day.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and contributed to making the event such a meaningful success. Together, we celebrated the strength of Bialik women across generations and the power of community to uplift others.
