Year 10 Students Explore Their Future at Subject Supermarket
Choosing VCE subjects is one of the first major decisions students make as they prepare for their senior years. To help make that decision with confidence, Bialik's Year 10 students recently took part in our annual Subject Supermarket.
The event gave students the opportunity to explore the full range of VCE subjects in an engaging and interactive way. Teaching staff hosted displays for every subject, giving students the chance to ask questions, learn about course content and gain valuable insights from the educators who will guide them through their VCE studies.
As students moved from table to table, they discovered subjects they already knew well alongside options they may not have previously considered. Conversations with teachers helped bring each subject to life, offering a clearer understanding of what students can expect and where different pathways may lead.
Each student also received a subject booklet to support their decision-making beyond the event. The resource provides detailed information that students can review with their families as they consider the subjects that best align with their interests, strengths and future aspirations.
At Bialik, we believe students make the best decisions when they are informed, supported and encouraged to explore their options. Subject Supermarket reflects this commitment by creating opportunities for curiosity, meaningful conversations and thoughtful planning.
As our Year 10 students prepare to choose their VCE subjects, we are excited to see them take the next step in their learning journey with confidence and purpose.
