An inclusive school

Bialik College is a cross-communal Jewish Zionist school, embracing an inclusive approach to Judaism. Our ethos, which includes aspects from all streams of Judaism, closely mirrors the rich mosaic of Jewish identity in Melbourne.

Bialik consistently ranks in the Top 5 in the State for VCE results and is renowned not only for its academic excellence, but also for its Culture of Thinking, highly attuned pastoral care program, inclusive Jewish ethos and caring environment.

“ What is immediately evident when arriving at Bialik, is the outstanding quality of relationships between students and staff, and amongst students themselves.”
— Jeremy Stowe-Lindner, Principal

Four schools on one campus

All students attend one campus in Hawthorn, where they learn and grow together. This creates a close-knit community of students from as young as 3 months in the Creche, and 3 to 18 years in the Early Learning Centre and main school.

The schools on campus are:

Bialik Children's Centre (BCC) & Early Learning Centre (ELC)

Junior Primary (Prep & Year 1) & Primary School (Years 2-5)

Middle School (Years 6-9)

Senior School (Years 10-12)

Our beautiful Bialik College campus

The beautiful grounds of Bialik College include modern buildings on campus that welcome students of every age. The college operates a structure of ‘four sub-schools within a school’ on the Hawthorn Campus and by design each building fosters connection and creativity. Each sub-school is governed by a Head of School.
