Economics Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced VCE Economics and Middle School Commerce Teacher to join our dynamic team. As an Economics Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and impactful lessons that inspire our students' passion for the subject and prepare them for academic success.

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2027.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality VCE Economics and middle-school Commerce lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine teaching strategies and resources
- Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events
- Maintain accurate student records and adhere to school policies and procedures

Skills and Experience
- VIT Registration is essential along with relevant tertiary qualification in Economics or a related field
- Solid experience in teaching VCE Economics and Middle School Commerce
- Strong subject matter expertise and a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in Economics education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a team environment
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student-centred learning
