Secondary English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our secondary school students. The role will include teaching VCE English classes.

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2027.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering engaging English lessons that challenge and inspire students across our Middle School and Senior School.
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to support their learning.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing.
- Continuously improving your teaching practice through professional development and reflection.

Skills and Experience
- VIT Registration is essential along with relevant tertiary qualification.
- Solid experience in teaching VCE English to students in Middle and Senior School year levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate with the broader school community.
