Teacher - Student Services

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher - Student Services to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our secondary school students. The role will include teaching Learning Essentials classes.

This is a part-time (0.40FTE to 0.60 FTE) ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2027.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering engaging Learning Essentials lessons that challenge and inspire students across our Middle School and Senior School.
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to support their learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and assessment strategies
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing
- Continuously improving your teaching practice through professional development and reflection

Skills and Experience
- VIT Registration is essential along with relevant tertiary qualification
- Special education qualifications and/or experience preferred
- Solid experience in teaching to students in Middle and Senior School year levels, VCE experience desirable (preferred not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate with the broader school community
