Academic Scholarships

Bialik College is proud to offer a number of academic scholarships. Academic scholarships are now closed.

Selection Criteria

For entry into Year 4 (non-Bialik students) and Years 7 and 10 2024 (both Bialik and non-Bialik students).

Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a written examination. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the Principal. Copies of school reports will be requested. Please note that this interview does not guarantee that a scholarship will be offered.

As well as demonstrating academic excellence, applicants should demonstrate an interest in participating in the wide range of opportunities available at the College and respect the Mission, Vision and Values that govern the College.

Process

The written examination is conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and covers mathematics, written expression and reading comprehension. While Hebrew and Jewish Studies are compulsory at Bialik College, these subjects are not tested in the academic examination.
