About the Role


Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing accurate and timely support and advice across a range of HR functions. The role has a focus on coordinating operational HR matters including, recruitment, reporting, policy, OH&S, personnel and providing general support to managers and staff.

This is a full-time position for a fixed term period until July 2025. This role has the flexibility to work 1 -2 days per week from home.

Key Responsibilities


- A deep knowledge of and experience with relationship fundraising principles which may include LIA, Gift Search, Wealth Scan and Moves Management principles and applications
- Proven track record of reaching (and exceeding) annual fundraising targets
- Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective long-lasting relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Proficiency in speaking, presenting and storytelling
- Experience in collaborating closely with team members, cross functional teams and key internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of the individual philanthropic environments and current philanthropic best practices
- Ability to analyse, plan and implement strategic processes/programs
- A strong proficiency in MS Office applications, communication software such as Mailchimp, and experience with online donation widgets like Donor Box and Raisely. A working knowledge of website builders and the ability to quickly adapt to tailor-made relationship/database programs and software.
- A willingness to work flexibly and at times, outside of regular office hours, if required by donors and for event
